DESIGNED FOR GOOD - BY Philip Cleaver

 Today we did reading about DESIGNED FOR GOOD and it's by 

Philip Cleaver.

1. WHAT DOSE REDESIGNED MEAN - It means you are REDESIGNING a thing that is broken or not working. 

2. WHAT DOSE ELIMINATE MEAN - It means to get rid of something or to put an end to something.

Today we have been creating an image that is real or fake.

For example, this is my design I have made. 

It was fun because we got to go online and research things. 

I thought it would be easy on google draw so I  did it on google draw.

HOW YOU PLAY YOSHI

On Thursdays some people play a game at Oruaiti school called yoshi. The people who taught us yoshi are in the highest class and a teacher called Mr Picared. Mr Picared learnt it off the internet. The place that made the game yoshi is Japan. 

What you need to play yoshi

First you need about ten cones, a court or a hall, 2 Hula hoops and two teams. The 2 Hula hoops need to be diagonal, the cones need to be in the middle of Wherever you are playing and the teams have to be on the opposite side of the cones.

How to win

 Second you have to get all of your team on the other side to win. When the P.A.L leaders call yoshi all of your team has to run to the opposite side of your side and if all of your team gets to their side first they win. You can only win when the P.A.L leaders call yoshi then you go to the others teams side and go into one of the Hula hoops which is called the home space (The other hula hoop is the jail space)

Record Bowls

On Friday the 23 of October our class made record bowls. 

YOU NEED

Record 

Oven mits 

Two glass bowls or more if you wan't

You need the oven to be around 160 degrees

HOW YOU MAKE THEM

1. You grab a  record, anykind you wan't

2. You get a glass bowl

3. You put it in the oven

4. Then you wait for it to fall

5. Then you grab it out of the oven

6.  Grab your oven mits 

7.  Push  the record down

8. Then wait for it to cool down

9. take it out of the bowl

10. There is your bowl
