On Wednesday we play Fishy fishy but in maori. It was amazing!

On Friday we made poi's for the kapahaka group.
We had a maori week with whaea kenya. We played lots of games in maori. It was cool.

On Tuesday, our class had Whaea Kaiya after morning tea.
When she came in she started talking about the Olympics. When she finished she pulled out some home made medals. Gold in maori is tohutoa koura, silver is tohutoa hiriwa and bronzes is tohutoa parahi. How we won these is we had play a game. The game that we play is we had to shoot a ball into the netball net and try to get as many goals as we could.
The Waitangi trip
On a wonderful Wednesday our class went to Waitangi for the day. We left at 9.am in the morning. It was an hour away, "WHAT A HOUR" . Yes, an hour but it is going to be fantastic when we get there.
When we just about got to Waitangi driveway one of the girls in the car i was in had a little accident in the car, but it got all sorted. When we got there we had morning tea at a picnic table that was there. When we finished our morning tea we headed into the museum, we had to take our bags off and into this big cage.

When we got out of the museum we went to this Humongous tent we all sat in. We all split into two groups and went some were. One group went to do some signing and the other group went to this big hall.
This week we are learning about Insects in Maori
